ESA (European Space Agency) and Flowing Content S.A. sign an agreement under which ESA will co-fund the development of the TASMANIA service to provide two-way satellite encrypted media delivery administration; partnering companies are CRP Henri Tudor (Public Research Centre in Luxembourg), SES-ASTRA and Newtec.

The Flowing Content proposal was selected by the ESA Tender Evaluation Board out of a list of 58 competing companies coming from 12 countries within the Artes 3 program "Integrated Applications".
